TASC and the Niagara Foundation organize intercultural
trips to Turkey and about 300 people visit this amazing
country every year. The aim of these trips is to promote
our culture to the American people by showing them the
historical sites of different civilizations in Anatolia,
the natural beauties, the hospitality of the Turkish people
and give them a chance to taste the original and delicious
Turkish food.
In January we took 19 travelers from the First Congregational
Church at Crystal Lake, IL to Turkey for an Intercultural
Trip. The trip was for 10 ten days and we visited Istanbul,
Ankara, Izmir, Ephesus, Antalya, Konya – the city
of Rumi and Cappadocia. Everyone enjoyed each and every
minute of the trip.
